The A chair is the original TOLIX model. Designed by Xavier Pauchard in 1935 and perfected in 1956 by his son Jean Pauchard, it has become an undisputed reference in French industrial design. Originally conceived for intensive use, it has stood the test of time without ever denying its function. Made of steel and handcrafted in Autun, each A chair perpetuates know-how passed down for nearly a century. A universal seat whose authenticity lies as much in its design as in its origin.
