In the creative hum of the post-war period, Xavier Pauchard established TOLIX in Burgundy, introducing galvanization to the French furniture industry. His first galvanized steel chairs, resistant and lightweight, emerged as design revolutions, blending industrial aesthetics with functionality, and marked the beginning of a new era for durable metal furniture.

The beginning of the new millennium marked an important milestone for TOLIX, which received the prestigious “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” label. In 2023, TOLIX celebrated its heritage by reissuing the T37 collection and launching the UD collection, combining the legend of the brand with striking modernity. A new direction
