Château du Clos de Vougeot, a 12th-century historic monument in Burgundy, chose TOLIX’s T37 collection in Vert Jonc to furnish the courtyard of the winery at its renowned Table de Léonce. The T37 Chair was created for the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1937, the same period that saw the birth of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, which would go on to host grand banquets. Archive photographs show Tolix’s A Chair already adorning the tables of these exceptional dinners, a tradition that continues today.
